A Princess With Spirit?

TaraElla is back with a brand new concept - 'The Princess's Spirit'.

TaraElla has always been about unique ideas. Like her vision for self-made stars a few years back. Or her vision for a culture of 'adaptive' family values. But this time, the concept sounds less specific and less, well, tangible. 'The Princess's Spirit' is TaraElla's latest 'thing', and we recently asked her what exactly it is.

So what exactly is the Princess's Spirit?
The Princess's Spirit actually defies precise definition. Read my books and you will get it. It's also something that has been immortalized in countless fairytales. But some of the main pillars include being proud of who you are, being brave in the face of the world saying 'no' to you, never giving up on your vision and values, and helping those less fortunate around you.

Let's be more concrete here. Out of the celebrities out there, who has the Princess's Spirit, for example?
Well, anyone can have the Princess's Spirit, but nobody can specifically 'own' it. Celebrities who stand up for their values and causes, political and otherwise, celebrities who visit sick fans in hospital, celebrities who do fundraisers for free, these are all examples of acting out of the Princess's Spirit. But I can't, and I won't, put a specific name to your question.

You have been publishing quite a few new books under this theme. What's the deal here?
Originally The Princess's Spirit was meant to be the title of a new trilogy of fiction I am writing (editor's note: the first one has been published). But then, I prepared a few more non-fiction books around the concept so people can get to understand the concept more.

Will you be releasing any new music soon?
I am a musician and I will continue to release new music into the foreseeable future. As for when that will happen, I cannot tell you. I am busy with several projects at the moment, but I am hopeful I can get something out music-wise next year or so.

Little Mermaid Backlash: A 'Cultural Appropriation' Outrage Tragedy

Today, I'm going to talk about the controversy surrounding the casting of singer and actress Halle Bailey as Ariel in the upcoming Disney remake of the Little Mermaid. Mainly, those complains have centered around the fact that Halle Bailey, who is black and doesn't have red hair, doesn't look anything like the cartoon version of Ariel. However, the Woke crowd have predictably screamed racism. They seem to have forgotten that racism is a strong charge, as in for example how black Americans were treated before desegregation, and it's not to be used lightly without adequate evidence, lest the real history becomes forgotten. (This is not to deny that racism is still a major problem today. It's just that the word must be used in a way consistent with its historical gravity.) Personally, I'm fine with a black Ariel.   I know for a fact that many trans people are actually frustrated about where the loudest activist voices are taking our community and our priorities right now. At a time when many members of our community are still struggling with the basics of life, when many of us live in fear of the building resentment and backlash to current trans activism and what real life effects that is translating into, the activist establishment is basically refusing to even listen to our concerns with an open mind.
